Nature and Environment
Under water, a squid swims, on land a chameleon crawls – both of them change their colours and patterns in danger, or to express their respective humour, and both of them reveal an extraordinary hunting and reproductive behaviour. On Rhodes, lizards hunt butterflies, which hang in the branches of the American sweet gum. Griffon vultures, the wild Kri-Kris goats, which only live in the steepest gorges of Crete, and bird-eating snakes on the island of Milos are further protagonists of this film.
