- Description
- For four years, the 37-year-old extreme climber Herbert Ranggetiner attempted to climb this 30 metre long and up to 12 metre overhanging line without falling. The changing weather conditions and the altitude of 2.600 m made this attempt very risky. The difficulty of this route, an 11th degree, is the maximum level in this sport and might never have been climbed at such an altitude before. The film shows fascinating climbing pictures of the Roter Turm in the Lienz Dolomites and interviews with the athletes and protagonists of former times. It focuses on the athlete Herbert Ranggetiner, who lives his dreams and tries to forget about gravity – at least for a short time.
