- Description
- July 2003: Lionel Deborde, Jérôme and Christophe Blanc-Gras, three French BASE-jumpers travel to Peru to attempt a jump off the south face of Huandoy (6123 m) in the Cordillera Blanca. After acclimatization and several attempts on the south-east ridge, a technically mixed route, they reach the summit. They succeed in realising one of the most impressive jumps above 5800 m height. The first in the Andes.
