Description
This is a film following a disabled Tasmanian riding his Trike across the Himalayas. For renowned climber Paul Pritchard cycling is the only way he will be able to return to the Mountains and make the pilgrimage to Mount Everest. He is accompanied by another disabled Tasmanian, six times Australian white-water kayaking champion Carol Hurst. “The Journey” is an inspirational story of triumph over massive adversity - Carol has arthritic hips and Paul cannot use his right side since a boulder fell on his head. Our Journey will take viewers over the Himalayan mountain range from Lhasa, Tibet to Kathmandu, Nepal. It will take us over passes with rarefied air above 5000 meters and on gruelling dirt roads as Paul and Carol ride all the way to Everest Base Camp.
