Titus Faschina (Deutschland) - 92 min
Dumitru Stanciu is one of the last mountain herdsmen in Europe. In summer and in winter, he drives his sheep herds across the far and wide landscape of the Transylvanian Carpathian Mountains, like his ancestors did for centuries, very close to the sky. He is living in the myths of his mountains, between wolves and bears, in the sun, wind, snow and ice, and in constant worry about his animals. Soon he will chuck in his job, and a piece of old European tradition will be gone for ever. Or, will his son Radu take over the herd?
