With its 3,660 metres, the Großvenediger is the fourth highest mountain of Austria. The world seems to be frozen and stiff in the eternal world of ice, however, everything here is changing and developing. The mountain guide Emil Widmann has given up his profession as a teacher to become the tenant of the Kürsinger hut. His decision is rewarded by the numerous hikers who are willing to march for over two hours just to be able to reach the hut and enjoy the delicious specialties of the Pinzgau there. However, this could soon come to an end. Will the dream job keep its promise?
